Description
The Little Learners Assessment of Reading Skills (LLARS) assesses students’ skills and knowledge to inform teaching and identify the specific needs of each student. The LLARS will identify, in diagnostic detail, what students know and to what level they can apply their skills and knowledge to reading. The LLARS comprises four subtests in total:
- Subtest 1: Grapheme–phoneme knowledge
- Subtest 2: Decoding non words
- Subtest 3: Reading Heart Words (optional)
- Subtest 4: Reading unseen decodable texts. The unseen decodable stories assess the accuracy, fluency and comprehension of the student at each Little Learners Love Literacy® stage.

Refund Policy
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging (shrink wrapped). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

- Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please take photographs and send them to hello@learninglogic.com.au. If the item is a book, we'd appreciate a photo of the imprint page - this will show us the date and supplier to follow-up with.
- Missing items: Please check your delivery against the supplied pick list and let us know about any issues within 30 days of delivery.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Professional learning events
No refunds are available on professional learning events. If you can no longer attend the workshop contact LLLL on hello@learninglogic.com.au and we'll change your booking to a future workshop date of your choice (within 12 months of your original booking).

I love this program from a teacher perspective but I was a little thrown off to hear that some parents have downloaded these free guides to support their children. LLASS should be a new word assessment for sounds, not words that a parent has prepared them for by memory. Could you maybe look into a smaller ‘sample’ download rather than have everything accessible to anyone? Thanks
This resource is fantastic but it should not be accessible to parents.
Such an amazing resource for assessment but it's losing its validity being so easily accessible by parents. Hopefully LLLL can limit the access soon.
