Our professional learning workshops are essential to teach Little Learners Love Literacy® with fidelity, and to get maximum value and impact from your resources. This unique ONLINE workshop will prepare you to implement the Little Learners Love Literacy® Year 2 program – focussing on the explicit teaching of spelling, morphology, reading fluency and comprehension for grade two students.
Is this workshop for me?
This workshop is designed for Year 2 teachers and literacy leaders who have previously completed the Little Learners Love Literacy® Two-Day Workshop, allowing trained LLLL teachers to extend their knowledge without needing to retrain from scratch!
What will it cover?
The Year 2 Workshop builds on what you already know by introducing the instructional routines and resources teach Stage 7 Review, Stage 7.5 and Stage 8.
✔ Deepen knowledge of morphology and spelling rules
✔ Modelling of all the LLLL Year 2-specific teaching routines
✔ Moving on from decodables - engaging fluency and vocabulary instruction
✔ Practical support including classroom footage of Year 2 routines in action.
